October 1, 2020 ā Entries are now OPEN for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association’s (IDA) Digital Dressage Fall I Show powered by DigitalHorseShow.com. The entry process will remain open until 5 pm ET on October 9, 2020, with the Live Awards Broadcast taking place at 5 pm ET on Sunday, October 25. The Premier Online Equestrian Experience, DigitalHorseShow.com (DHS) offers a competitive, educational, interactive, and affordable horse show for riders and equestrian fans.
The official sanctioned online horse show competition of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), the DHS platform offers a full horse show experience for any discipline, delivered digitally.

The inaugural Digital Dressage Fall I Show will be judged by Robin Bruekman āSā, of Greensboro, North Carolina, and is one in a series of two fall shows that will be hosted by the IDA this semester. Riders will have ten days to enter and upload their video. Judging will conclude on October 24, and the live awards broadcast will air on Sunday, October 25.
“The IDA is excited to offer this Digital Show Series as an option for our riders who are left without a ‘normal’ competition season,” explained Kimberlyn Beaudoin, Director of Marketing for the IDA. “We believe that DHS is the best platform for this opportunity, as it is the only platform that offers TRUE quality for horse sport in the ‘New Normal.'”
Riders will submit a video of themselves competing in their respective division, and their test will be evaluated by the judge. Those who want to join in and watch the competition can sign up for a free Insider membership, while VIP, Premium Competitor, and Elite members get a variety of special perks that bring them even closer to the competition, a full horse show experience delivered digitally.

In the live awards broadcast, the judge chooses top videos to discuss for constructive criticism and feedback. Class winners will be announced, select winners will be interviewed, and DHS members will have a chance to get their questions answered by the judge and special guests. Winners will also be highlighted in the weekly DHS newsletter, and will be awarded a digital ribbon for their efforts – with more prizes to be announced in future events.
VIP, Premium Competitor, and Elite members can interact with the panel/judge during the live broadcast. An Insider member who is signed in can watch and see the comments, while VIP, Premium Competitor, and Elite members can upvote to elevate questions and comments they like the most.
DHS competitions are run using the basic principles and rules for competition of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), while holding horse welfare of the utmost importance.
